Well, Christmas
season went well. I am now sitting here recuperating
from minor surgery. I have a cool story from
Christmas...I offered a special to everyone on
my e-mailing list during Christmas. $20 for 3 of
the new Fantasy CD's, a Liszt
Laughing? T-shirt, and a Liszt Laughing? 2006
Wall Calendar. What a deal! (Sorry, the offer has
expired - no crying - hehe). One gentleman who
took me up on the offer asked if I had a
"hot pink" t-shirt a little ol'
Hungarian lady could wear. Well no, but I could
certainly make one! So, the wife and I went to Hobby
Lobby I believe it was, and we got us a
"hot pink" t-shirt. Then, I put a
"Hungarian dude" dressed in
traditional garb waving a Hungarian flag on the
front, and the CD logo on the back. At
Christmas, the gentleman gave his Mom (who's
husband had been a Count in the old country) the
t-shirt, and it brought tears to her eyes! Now,
how touching and cool is that??? I am very proud
of that story. And, I made a new friend in the gentleman
too! THANK YOU to everybody who
purchased the offer!

Fantasy of 1811 has
completely been resampled. That is finished, and
I am working on getting it manufactured and on
to CDBABY.com for digital distribution. I am
excited! This new version rocks!

I am resampling/upgrading the
piano sound in Fantasy Of 1811. I bought
a new piano sample
that reproduces the sound
of a Bösendorfer
Imperial 290. Plus, I am
doing some extra work to the dynamics in the Fantasy
pieces. I plan to re-release Fantasy Of 1811 sometime
in the middle of this year. When I re-release, I
plan to make it available on I-TUNES and such
through the CDBABY digital distribution
agreement. I am pretty excited about this
re-release, because although I have sold some of the old
version (if you bought one thank you!), and I
used to really like the sound (and no customer
has complained...), I think the piano sample upgrade is
an opportunity that will make Fantasy more
accessible and it will make Fantasy more
movie track friendly.
